PETA, those dumbasses who believe animals are just as, if not more important than people tried to  file a lawsuit on behalf of the Seaworld orcas stating they were enslaved. They used the 13th Amendment to justify this bullshit too.

So the entertainment at Seaworld is akin to centuries of the enslavement of Black people in America.

Well, if this just aint the most perfect way to top off Black History Month, I don’t know what is!

My thing is that there are Black people who sign off on PETA, Taraji…I’m talking about you. What you got to say about this shit? That’s why you been on my list for over a year now. Everytime I think about it, I get mad.

Let me ask yall this: Why is that PETA ALWAYS compares the treatment of animals to Black people? They NEVER equate it to the women’s movement, the gay rights movement, the way differently-abled people are treated or nothing. It’s ALWAYS compared to Black folks….If that doesn’t tell you something right there…

Time for me to start killing squirrels again.  I aint suggesting or encouraging anybody to blow up the PETA headquarters. Naw, that shit is ILLEGAL! But if somebody did, you aint gon see me cryin about it….

Yeah, I’m not down with this at all.

But it’s happening. More and more children are coming out as….Well, I don’t want to say trans because I don’t believe children can identify as trans. Children don’t know who they are yet, how can they make adult decisions like that? They can’t.

Particularly since, especially during those formative years, gender identity is so tricky. I ran around with my brothers as a little girl, and with boys at school thinking I was a little boy. If I had gender re-assignment surgery then, I would be all sorts of confused now since I’m a grown woman who loves men.

Children are far too young to determine who they are. Hell, most adults don’t know who they are yet. Unnecessary life altering surgery is not the answer. Let them grow up and make this type of decision as adults. And you wonder why so many kids are confused now.

Parents aint shit nowadays. Your child does not run your household. Just cuz they want something, doesn’t mean they should have it. If they want it that bad, if it is that necessary that want and desire is not going to go away. If they are grown and still want it, then let them be the one to make that choice about their lives.

I blame parents’ needs to please their kids. You are not their friend, you are their parent, BE ONE!

It has been revealed that actor Chris Tucker owes $12 million in taxes.

Gat damn! I probably won’t have that much money in a lifetime.

Question: How does it become public knowledge how much someone owes in taxes? Is that public record or something? Cuz it just doesn’t seem right for all of somebody’s business to be put out on front street.

But apparently, Tucker is taking the Wesley Snipes approach to paying taxes by refusing to do so. I’m all down for standing up against The Man. I’m anti-taxes too. However, I’m also anti- prison and bitches named Big Red.

On the real tho, I have a hard time feeling bad for Chris Tucker. You know for each of those Rush Hour movies he made at least $20million. I don’t know why these folks believe they gotta floss all that shit away. If I had $20million best believe I would be living in a studio apartment driving a damn Honda. Trust! 8. They can’t cook. It’s okay. This is something everybody knows. Yall know it too, yall just don’t like to discuss it. But the kitchen is not where yall are meant to be. I always knew there was a reason white women resented it and it’s because they don’t know what to do while they’re in there. Why thafuck yall put bread crumbs, cracker crumbs whatever the hell it is on top of macaroni and cheese? Thafuck is up with that? This is also the reason that once one of yall taste soul food, you get hooked like crack. Yall can’t handle that shit cuz the deliciousness is overwhelming to your senses…But then yall have the audacity to try and duplicate it. Stop.

7. They like sports they know we don’t want to touch. See, this is my philosophy, the moment white folks realized that people of color were hella good at sports, they started doin shit they knew we didn’t want to do. Thafuck is curling? Why thafuck yall throw frisbees around? You throw frisbees at a dog, humans aint supposed to run after that shit! See, yall be doin shit, yall know we don’t want to do just so you can feel better about yourself. I aint mad at it, just observing.

6. They don’t get the stock market. Stop acting like you do. Yall playin the market is like us goin to buy a Powerball or Megamillions ticket. You just puttin some shit out there and hoping for the best like the rest of us.

5.  They love bootleggin! Do not be fooled by Leroy slangin the newest Tyler Perry movie on the corner of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. and 15th street. We did not corner the market on the hustle. White people did. When the bootleg is shot in the movie theater, that might have been us. When it’s that crisp, clean, digital copy with ‘For Your Consideration’ at the bottom, that’s ALL yall! I learned that hustle. Yall bootleg more than we do. Yall love you some free shit too! Movies, music etc. We get our supply from yall. We go to Leroy, yall get yall shit directly from the studios!

4.  They love drugs. Now I know that one gets thrown at us on the regular. But much like number ten, white folks benefit from that shit more than any of us ever did! Aint no war on drugs! I have yet to meet a white person who has not engaged in some sort of drug behavior. Yall like to get, in yalls own words, ‘Fucked Up!’ Just be real with it. You aint got to front for nobody. Just let folks know you like to get high as all hell and things would go so much smoother. Yall can stop the whole uptight act cuz once yall are inebriated, the truth comes out like a motha!

1. They kill shit. And I mean any and everything. Yall like to kill. Just for the fun of it. See, I’ve learned a lot watching you all. And causing death is like a pastime for yall. Whether it be people, animals, plant life. If you can kill it, you will. There’s a reason so many of yall are serial killers. So, I really don’t care too much for Anderson Cooper. I don’t see the fascination with him buuuuuttttt, today Janet is gon be on his talk show. They filmed the interview last week and she will be talking about Whitney.

I figured that title would get your attention.

But let’s be real here. It’s not as if it’s a complete lie. A generalization? Yes. But a lie? Not exactly.

As we know due to the Grammy Awards earlier this week, Chris Brown and Rihanna have been thrust back into the spotlight following their tumultuous relationship three years ago which ended when Brown viciously beat Rihanna.

As of late there have been rumors swirling of them rekindling their romance and doing songs together.

Now, any woman with any amount of self respect for herself and any man with any as well would say that these two are completely stupid if that idea is being contemplated. I mean, what woman in her right mind would want to be with a man who did this to her:

But so many women do. So many women who are savagely beaten go back to the men who committed that act against them. I remember the first time I saw that picture, it literally haunted me. You all know that I’m not a Rihanna fan. I can’t stand her but no one deserves for this to happen to them. And the fact that so many brush it off as if it was nothing or that we should just forget it is frankly appalling.

I am particularly disturbed by the fact that so many withing my community, men and women alike, embrace Brown without question. You would not believe how many times I’ve read some variation of ‘we need to let it go’ ‘let him live his life’ etc. I’m sorry but did you not see the picture I posted above? I remember when it all happened, I wrote extensively about Brown’s actions following this event. The partying, the kicking it, the complaining against everyone else for being ‘done wrong.’ I nicknamed him the Bitch of the Year following the incident because as so many of us seem to forget, all he did and has done for the past three years is talk about how anyone who looks at him critically for being violent criminal is ‘hatin on him.’

Not once has he taken responsibility for his actions. And I mean true responsibility, not half assed messages read off of teleprompters and not talking about how he ‘forgot.’ But some real responsibility.

What disturbs me even more is that I’ve seen so many of us talking about. “They need to just stop fighting it and get back together.” “They must really love each other.” “Whatever, I like them together.”

Once again let’s look at this:Please tell me where you see love in that image? Is it in her eye nearly swollen shut? Is it in her busted and bruised lip? The knot on her forehead? Let me know where the love is because I can’t seem the find it.

And can I just state for the record that the type of comments I’ve heard and seen as I listed above are not from misguided teenagers. These are from adults. Grown men and a women who believe that this is somehow acceptable or that we should let it go.

It amazes me that we are a community who have been beaten and violated for centuries by Europeans and are constantly told to let it go and forget about it. And some of us have no doubt. But we get mad that people have the audacity to say it. Yet we do the same when it’s our own people. Like that is somehow acceptable. It’s funny in the most tragic of ways that situations like this were once thought of to be ‘hoodrat’ in nature.

Remember those conversations we used to mock. “Girl, he aint never hit you? He must not love you like you thought he did.”

It’s almost as if when we heard things of that nature, we knew automatically that those women were stupid. It was second nature. But now, now too many of us believe this. Even those of us who claim to have sense believe it. “Just shake her.” ” Open palm bro, open palm.”

Now, I’m not saying that Chris Brown and Rihanna both can’t get past this. (And no, they haven’t.) But they both need some SERIOUS counseling and help. These two have been nothing but coddled since the incident occurred, particularly Brown. And it’s our community that has been coddling them both the most, and not in a good way. We aren’t encouraging her to seek counseling and to meet with other women who have had her experience. We aren’t telling him to seek counseling to deal with is apparent and abhorrent anger issues. If we’re doing anything, it should be that and only that.

I just have to ask if that was you or your mama or your sister who looked like Rihanna does in those pictures would you let it go? Even after three years? Which isn’t that very long to be honest. When did we stop caring about each other and our well being? When did wanting to hear a new song on the radio precede how we support each other in our time of need? I don’t know if anyone else has noticed or cared for that matter but have you seen the downward spiral Rihanna has been on since it happened? I’m not even a fan of hers, I don’t listen to he music or keep up with what she’s doing on the regular but I’ve seen it. It’s tragic.

In a time where we mourn the loss of some of the biggest icons in music, we’re setting this young woman up to fail because of our own foolishness and selfishness. When did we become the type of people to protect those who harm us over those who are harmed? Was it after integration? During slavery? Is it a result of our ever present self hatred? Because this entire incident reminds me of how so many of us will do ANYTHING for white people more so than each other.

Instead of getting this young man the help he needs, or encouraging him to get the help he needs we enable him. “Ooh, he’s grown so much as an artist.” “He’s got that grown music now.” That’s just great. And all he had to do was lose his manhood in order to get it.

“Oooh, I’m feeling this Rihanna joint.” “She’s speaking to me right now.” “She went and got deep with it.”

And all she had to do was get pummeled, vilified and blamed for deserving what was done to her.

This is where we are.

Are you not the least bit ashamed?

Because I am disgusted by each and every one of you who in any way excuse his actions or have let them go and chosen to ignore them. Because you’re no better than he is. You’re the reason so many women in our community suffer in silence. Are afraid that if they speak out they’ll get blamed. That they’re just not letting their man ‘love’ them enough. That so many sistas who end up dead because they were afraid to leave. You’re the ones who stand idly by and think nothing of it.

All for the sake of getting to hear a song on the radio. Yippee!

Well, this shit just set us back.

Have yall ever seen that movie Spinning Into Butter? When I heard about this incident, that was the first thing that came to mind.

Is this what we’re doing now? With all the damn racism going on in the education system, especially at these predominantly white colleges, we gotta make shit up?

But let me make this clear to yall, I don’t condone this shit whatsoever, but like the plot of the movie mentioned above, I understand it. Because I know for a fact that racism does occur on the Montclair State University campus. And perhaps in some twisted way these sistas were trying to get it recognized instead of ignored as it more than likely has been before. It’s not right and completely stupid to do so but people handle stress and frustrations differently.

My issue with this is that now when some real shit goes down, these white folks are going to truly ignore it and feel vindicated in doing so because these misguided young ladies acted accordingly.

But then again, when don’t white people try to feel justified in their actions? They were going to do that regardless of whether or not these ladies did what they did or not.
